Donald Lee Lords passed away, peacefully in his sleep at the tender age of 64. He had always hoped that would be how it happened. Perhaps Don’s intense life-long faith and his ceaseless hard work compelled the Lord to grant him that request. Don certainly earned it.
Don was born in Great Falls, MT. All who knew him know that he carried Big Sky Country in his heart, even as he built his life in Washington.
Don was a very highly skilled driver. He worked as a truck driver for many years at Interstate Trucking and for many years for Everett Transit. Each person fortunate enough to have been taught to drive by Don is, through his tutelage, a superior driver. It is unfortunate that he couldn’t teach everyone. Accidents would be a thing of the past.
Don is survived by his soulmate and wife of 45 years, Linda. His children, Chris and Marlene Lords, Lisa and Mark Wardell, Donald and Beth Lords, Keri and Nick Urdiales, Jason Lords, and his 13 grandchildren.
Don had a long-standing breakfast date with his sisters. A tradition that will continue as they mourn their beloved brother.
Don had a nearly countless number of friends and family, too many to name. You know who you are and you know he loved you dearly.
