Donna Marie Wirtz was a loving mother of three whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. Her journey began in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on October 22, 1959. As a child, she moved with her parents, Bud and Betty, and her three sisters to Bainbridge Island, Washington—a place she always cherished and visited fondly.
Donna spent most of her life in Marysville, Washington, where she worked as a talented cosmetologist and later as a well-respected educational assistant at Liberty Elementary School. She married the love of her life, Allen Wirtz, on August 8, 1987, together they raised three wonderful children. She was deeply devoted to her family and took great joy in her roles as a wife, mother and grandmother.
A creative soul, Donna loved reading—especially Nora Roberts novels—and enjoyed expressing herself through stamping, scrapbooking, and cardmaking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Betty (Hansen) Brick, and her sister, Becky. Donna is survived by her sister Kathy, her husband (still Allen); her children, Chandra (Pete), Taylor (Brittany), and Sarah; and her beloved grandchildren, Pete Jr., Devin, Greyson, Oskar, and Eloise.
Her kindness, creativity, and love for family will always be remembered.
