Dorothy Jane Adkins Long time resident of Marysville, Dorothy Jane Adkins, died peacefully in the hospital on Friday, February 27, 2015 in Everett at the age of 87. Dorothy was born and raised in Sheridan, Montana and moved to Bremerton with her parents in 1943. In 1952 she moved to Marysville with her young family. She will be remembered for her friendly nature and her warm, welcoming home where people of all ages came to share stories and laughter. Dorothy is survived by her sons, Robert Adkins of Everett and Jay Adkins of Alameda Island, Calif.; her two grandchildren, Chelsea Hanson of Camano Island and Luke Adkins of Whidbey Island; and her great grandchildren Poppy and Bodin Hanson.
