Edmon “Bud” Grundy Lacy, 78, passed away on January 19, 2025, at home. He was born on September 10, 1946, in Seattle. Bud was the eldest son of Edmon and Marquita Lacy. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Cathy, and a loving father to his children, Sean, Tom, Angela, and Cami. He was also loved by his step-children, Johnny, and Carrie. Bud worked for 23 years as a quality control inspector at Boeing, where he helped in the development of the Boeing 777 aircraft.
Known for his work ethic and his warm, friendly demeanor, Bud touched the lives of many with his humor and kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Bud is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, children, and many extended family members and friends.
