Elma Irene Kuntz
September 20, 1926 – April 29, 2021
Elma Irene Snedeker was born Sept. 20, 1926 in Alliance Nebraska to Morton and Loretta Snedeker. She graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1944. Her "knight in shining armor" came home from the war and they were married Nov. 18, 1944. (Paul was a paratrooper, jumped on D-Day and was wounded 15 days later.) They went to Vancouver, WA as Paul was a patient in Barnes Army Hospital. Their six children were born in Vancouver. They moved to Seattle, WA in 1960. Elma worked at Montgomery Ward and Safeco Insurance Co. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. John's in Seattle, Mesa, AZ and St. Mary's in Marysville. Her parents, little brother, two sisters, husband Paul and son Stephen preceded her in death. She leaves behind sons Michael (Teresa), James, David (Amanda), Daniel (Allyson) and her daughter Margaret (Leonard) Aamodt as well as eleven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
