Im so sorry he had to leave us. He was one of my Moms best friends! He and Casey would play  cribbage for days some times. He taught me alot about music and the love for country music. I remember getting to ride in his yellow LaMans!!! I remmember helping him carry his crosuries up the stairs to his apartment at the Saratoga where I lived across the hall when he hurt his foot.  R.I.P. big guy, Give my Mom a hug for me!!!

Rest in Peace , Papa.  I'm so sorry I didn't get to Everett to see you.  My car was bad, my health was going downhill and I looked so old. I didn't want you to see me like that. Hope you remembered me in your fav red dress. With my long hair.  You looked great in the pic you sent me.  I keep it in my wallet. 
   I will miss you being gone from my world. Wish I knew what happened.  See you again  one day.  Rest in peace, Gene. Hug your Momma for me. Loved her so much. ❤️

I tried to call to say Happy Birthday and thank you for that card telling me " I am still loved." I wanted to tell you Papa , you too are still loved .  Since 1972 when I saw you on the drums in Tukwila . We were together MANY yrs til life just split us up. Always finding our way back over all these yrs. Staying friends and sharing great memories WE had together.  Both of us drummers made for a noisy but fun time.  I miss his mother still too. One of the most wonderful women I've ever known.  My love and condolences to Beth and family.          Kat. Stine


Gene was an  interesting man ,I've known him 38 years RIP. My friend.
To know him was to love him ❤


So sad to learn this. Gene was the best drummer I ever worked with and taught me so much. So many jokes, always had a joke. He even wrote them down when he lost his voice. I’ll treasure the cribbage board he made for us. He was first person to make a fruit salad in a watermelon, it was for our reception. We were planning a visit sometime again. It’s been 3 years, so,so sad to hear this. We loved Gene very much
