Frank Joseph Ruff Jr.

He leaves behind his wife Karen of 34 years, three sons and four stepchildren:

David (Rose) Ruff, Todd Ruff, F. Kevin (Amanda Land) Ruff, Jeana (Mark) Menger,

Katrina (Mohammad Zia Ebrahimi) Nelson, William (Rebecca Perry) Nelson and J. Edward (Jill) Nelson, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Halimah Ashley of Santa Cruz, CA, stepsiblings David Rosenblum, Kay and Linda, two sisters-in-law Deborah Regula of Ohio and Sheila Ruddle of W. Virginia.

Joe graduated from Stadium High School, Tacoma WA. in 1954 and the University of Puget Sound in 1958 with a BA of Arts in Business. He was an Investment and Trust Officer; Joe retired from Bank of America in 2002. Joe was a member of the Cascade Christian Reformed Church and served on the Property Ministry Team, he had also been a deacon.

He enjoyed going to his grandchildren's football, basketball games and to his granddaughter's dance recitals.

Joe had a dry sense of humor which was enjoyed by those who knew him, he was a man of few words and he loved his family deeply.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Joe on June 6, 2026.
