George spent his entire life in Tulalip and worked in various trades from construction to maintenance. He exercised his Treaty Rights and Sovereignty regularly fishing, hunting, clam digging, and wood cutting. He took pride in being a gravedigger and honoring his people.
George was known to many as “Crazy George” and was "the life of the party". He made connections with everyone and loved to make people laugh. George had a heart of gold, full of love and compassion. He would go out of his way to care for others, especially his elders.
He leaves behind his mother, Elida Parks; children Dennis Reeves (Christina), Melody Lindell, Georgette Reeves, Georgetta Reeves, Lorna (Victor) Dan, Dean (Patricia) Dan, Albert Hood, Emerson Hood; Grandchildren, Victoria, Joshua, Neveah, and Olivia; Siblings, Teresa Sligar, Les (Tracy) Parks, Lori Parks, Bernie Parks, Roman (Dee) Reeves, Angela (Don) Miller, Lora Palmer, DeeDee Parks, Port Parks, Brian Reeves, Anthony Williams; his mate, Beverly Hatch, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews
He is preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Reeves; fathers George A. Reeves Sr. and Glen Parks; Grandparents Tom and Vivian Reeves, Raymond “Filipino” Leal, Edith Parks; siblings Charmaine Harrison-Fleming, Glen “Rocky” Parks, Eddy Pablo Sr., and the Brew Crew.

An evening service will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 6 PM at the Tulalip Gathering Hall. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 10 AM at at the Tulalip Gathering Hall with burial to follow at Mission Beach Cemetery.
