Born to Glen Oswald Boehme Sr (Pappy) and Elizabeth Alice Boehme on July 30, 1939 in Casper, Wyoming, he went home to be with the lord on April 23, 2017 surrounded by family in his loving home.
Bud graduated from Sumner High School in 1957; he served in the navy for six years, worked for the railroad and retired after 30 years of working for Columbia Plywood in Klamath Falls Oregon. He loved motorcycles, specifically Harley’s until later in life when he bought a Honda Goldwing. He was the President and Road Captain of the Klamath Two Wheelers Motorcycle Club in Klamath Falls Oregon. He was married to Betty Boehme, the love of his life for 40 years. He leaves behind nine children, 31 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He loved hunting, fishing and camping with family, and friends. He was also a serious Seahawks and Mariner fan; he especially loved going to his grandkids sporting events, no matter the sport; he had an avid in NASCAR and golf fan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pappy and Alice Boehme, five brothers and sisters – David, Mary Francis, Peggy, Drucilla (Druci), Juanita (Tee) and Jimmy; Daughter Vanessa Costella; Grandson Christopher Boehme.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Boehme; children, Lena Hammons, Elizabeth Vosika (Randy Vosika), David Boehme, Annie Boehme, Melvin Boehme (Sue Boehme), Lisa Severn (Tal Severn); Gail Pape, and Diane Glascoe; grandchildren – Summer (Tony), Joshua (Ashley), Jeremy (Tahnee), Ricky; Glendy, Tommy; Amber (Robby); Sara (Robby), Nate, Ian; Marie, Nicole, Brendal and Elliot (Mom -Vicki Bankston); David; Sierra; TJ and Ty; Penny, Tom, Daniel James; Kimberly, LaKisha, Vanessa, Alan, Sabrina, Ryan; Damien, and Mandy; great grandchildren – Skyler, Drew, Tony; Tayler, Kordelle, Quentin, Preston; Michael, LaVerne, Melissa, Jaiden, JC; Robert, Shania; Joslyn, Myles; Brayden, Kiah; Aiden, Zakky, Harlyn; Kierra Rose, Raelynne, Patience, Payton; Dominic, Adam, Makayla, Haley; Ty, Lawrence, Dillon, Desiree, Kane, and Gaven; and great-great grandchild – Carter.
A celebration of Glen’s life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home.
