She was preceded in death by her husband Art, daughter Karen, granddaughter Theresa, brothers Will and Pete, sisters Nell and Kate.
She enjoyed gardening, her friends, family, and watching her many grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up. She always found ways to stay busy. She loved staying in California in the winter and visiting friends and relatives there.
Special thanks to the wonderful workers at Fields Senior Living in Smokey Point. They certainly made her feel like family and gave her lots of attention. Also, many thanks to Alpha Hospice for making sure she had everything she needed to be comfortable.
To celebrate her life there will be a reception at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville on December 17. Come anytime between 12 -2.
