He was born on August 19th 1923 to Ernest and Harriet Hebert of Everett, WA.
He served in the 345th Engr Bn of the Army from January 14th 1943 to November 26th 1945 in the European African Middle Eastern area of WWII. He earned the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, Good Conduct medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign medal with 3 bronze stars, WWII Victory Medal, Combat Infantryman badge, Honorable Service Lapel button WWII, and the American Campaign medal.
He worked for Weyhauser pulp mill as a pipefitter until his retirement.
He leaves his wife, Phyllis of 74th years of marriage, three daughters; Carol Kinnamon (Sun City West, AZ), Jamie Ross (Marysville, WA) and Vickie Gay (Chugiak, AK), 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandpa who will be deeply missed by all of us. Rest in peace until we see you again, we love you greatly Daddy.
He will be buried in the Tahoma National Cemetery.
