He was formerly from Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho. He was born in Warren, Minnesota and a longtime resident of Bemidji. He grew up in Stephen, Minnesota. He was a bricklayer by trade and retired in Washington. As the neighborhood “Handy Man” he built furniture, and was there to help out everyone and anyone who needed a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; mother, Elizabett; son, David of Aberdeen, WA; daughter, Debra Ann Konsor of Marysville, WA; two brothers, Carter of Whitefish, Montana and Keith of Clancy, Montana; sister, Marla Forsythe of Rathdrum, ID; and five grandchildren, Joshua, Cory, Austin Jensen, and Machaela and Mackenzie Konsor.
A celebration of Jens’ Life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home 804 State Ave. Marysville, WA. Burial will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Everett, WA.
