Joanne F. "Jo" Brown, born March 5, 1931 in Seattle, Washington, passed away June 12, 2010 of pneumonia and a long battle with Parkinson's. She and her husband, "Brownie", were long time residents of Marysville, Washington.
Joanne lived a very active life style. She was a girl's swim team coach for the Everett YMCA in the 1960's. She also enjoyed basketball, archery, synchronized swimming and bowling, holding countless trophies in all areas.
Many community residents know Joanne as being either their coach or their school bus driver as Joanne drove for the Marysville School District for many years. In her spare time, Joanne enjoyed camping and spending time with her family at Thousand Trails.
Joanne will be missed by her daughter, Catherine Wark; her grandchildren, Erin Middlemist, Cory and Shawn Kieffer and Heather Mills-Jordan; her great-grandchildren, Kimberley, Savannah and Isabella Middlemist, Tiffany and Brittany Jordan; her nieces, Sue Viboch, Sharon Hudson; and many other family members.
