John William Eylander, 84, of Marysville, WA went to be with his Lord on November 17, 2013. John was born to Cornelius and Ida Eylander on October 9, 1929 in the family farmhouse in Arlington. He lived his entire life in Snohomish County, the last 47 years in Marysville. John was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janis, on August 14, 2013. They were married for 62 years. John is survived by his sons; Darrell (Marilyn), Craig, Kevin (Debbie), Bill (Karen); 12 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; his sister, Vivian Carey; and his brother Jim. John's greatest passions in life were serving God in ministry and his dedication to his family. A celebration of John's life will be held at The Grove Church, 4705 Grove St., Marysville, WA on Monday, November 25 at 1:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. A luncheon will follow.
