John is survived by his wife, Beverly Taylor; his children, Sherri Jones, Tom Taylor, and Debbie Fullerton, 10 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
John was born in Hardin, Montana and was the youngest of 8 siblings. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1958 and then in the reserves until 1963. While stationed in Spokane, Washington, he met his lovely bride, Beverly, who has always called him ‘Walt’. They were married in 1957. Their family soon grew to include Sherri, Tom and Debbie. He was proud of his family. John was an encourager to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, wanting them to pursue their passion and goals. He loved Christ and constantly prayed over his family.
John worked as a welder and pipefitter with Northwest Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry for about 30 years. After retiring, he enjoyed restoring old cars, building his train set city, and cheering on his Seahawks or “SeaChickens” if their performance was not up to par.
