In 1965 he married his wife Lotus. To this union three children were born. The only son “John Jr.” preceded him in death on June 9th, 2006. Johnnie Sr. departed this life on February 3rd, 2015 peacefully at home in Marysville, WA.
Johnnie leaves to cherish from devoted companion Lotus Hobson, two daughters, Annette K. Brown of Marysville, WA and daughter Bonnie L. Meneese of Seattle, WA. Two sons-in-law Jerry W. Meneese of Seattle, WA and Stehmann R. Brown of Marysville, WA; Eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one lovely sister Alverna Hobson of Bellevue, WA, four brothers, George Hobson and his wife Clem of Snohomish, WA, Lionell Hobson and his wife Peggy of Seattle, WA, Louis Hobson of Seattle, WA and baby brother Albert Hobson of Atlanta, GA. And a host of nieces and nephews.
