
Karen Rae Driggers Reed, 66, of Marysville, WA, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017. Karen was born to Lester and Coray Sisk Driggers on November 4, 1950 in Evansville, IN. She grew up in the Tukwilla, WA, area and Huntsville, AL, and lived the last 33 years in Marysville. On December 1, 1977, Karen married David Monrad Reed. She was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She volunteered many years as a trainer for the Boy Scouts of America as well as a Cub Scout day camp director. Karen was preceded in death by their infant son, Obadiah, in 1983. She is survived by her brother, Kerry (Teena) Driggers; husband, David; children, Terry, Jeremy (Heather), Kib, Tabatha Morgan, Kassia, Ziff (Nicole), and 20 grandchildren. She was looking forward to the soon arrival of her first great-grandchild. Her memorial service will be Saturday, January 7, at 11:00 a.m., at the LDS church, 9215 51st Ave. NE, Marysville, WA, with a viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Flowers may be sent to Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave, Marysville, WA, 98270, by Friday at 4:00 p.m.
