Kathleen Virginia Serge

Kitt was born in Roswell New Mexico on July 1, 1944 to Harold (Kit) and Virgina Carson. She was the eldest of six siblings. She cherished spending time with her family, enjoyed being outdoors, loved being with animals, making jewelry, and expressing her creativity through her art, which she continued to create even in her later years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter and a dear friend to many.

She leaves behind her children Tomi Fulgham, Dante Ramsey, Alope Pardee, and Roland (Buff) Serge, stepson Shawn Jacobs and Shane Jacobs (grandson raised as her son); her siblings Scott Carson, Tom Carson and Jon Carson; as well as her long-time partner Tim Jacobs. She also leaves her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sisters Sallie Gustafson and Peggy Durfee, as well as her mother, father and step-mother.

Kitt carved her own unique path in life. She made choices that reflected her vision of a fulfilling life and followed her chosen path until her final day. When it became clear her body was failing, she chose to leave us peacefully.

She will be missed by so many people whose lives she touched. A memorial is planned for Friday, September 20, 2024 to celebrate her life.
