Lonny loved to bowl, music, the outdoors, camping, fishing—and anything “camouflage”.
Lonny’s grandchildren were his nearly constant sidekicks, as were his dogs, Precious and Roxy. Lonny frequently volunteered for his grandchildren’s school and so enjoyed both coaching and watching his grandson’s sports activities. He was their beloved “Papa”.
Lonny is survived by his wife, Jamie; daughter, Kayla (Robert); his mother, Helen Meadows (Lonnie); father, Lonny L. Corley, Sr. (Virginia); grandchildren, Kayden, Kahlia, and Izayah; brothers, Scott (Maria) and Chris (Jade); sisters, Meredith (Mark) and Deanna (Rob); grandparents, Jerome and Roma Dinuis; grandmother, Elma Corley; in-laws, Gary and Mary Rimstad and Jim and Janice Smith, in addition to many aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces, and long-time friends.
A memorial service will be held at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home in Marysville, at noon on October 13, 2012. Immediately following a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery, the family invites you to a gathering at one of Lonny’s favorite places—Evergreen Lanes (banquet room), Evergreen Way in Everett.
