Lucille Mae Blake

Lucille was born November 28, 1949 in Ketchikan, Alaska to George W. White and Cecilia White (Neix.a’di) of the Beaver Halibat Clan. She was raised in Saxman, Alaska. Lucille was married to Stanley Blake on Feb. 9, 1968 and moved to Quaker Hill, CT. Stan passed away in 2005. Lucille worked and retired from the VA Hospital in Miami, FL. Lucille’s greatest love was her grandchildren. She loved visiting them as much as possible. Traveling was one of her greatest joys. She had a pet puppy named McKenzie. Elvis was one of her favorite singers. She was a Yankee fan. She loved going to the beach and especially loved going to yard sales.

She is survived by her children, Stanley Blake Jr, Kevin Blake and Lorraine Williams; grandchildren, Devin and Amanda; siblings, Kelly White, Elizabeth Giron, Carolyn Herresma and Virginia Gray.

There will be a Catholic Prayer service at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 12:00 Noon.
