

Marco Casasiempre Sison, 95, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 3319 116th Avenue NE, Lake Stevens, Washington. Marco was born October 7, 1921 to Valentin and Regina (Casasiempre) Sison in Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines, the second of 5 children. He attended his collegiate instructions at the Far Eastern University in the City of Manila.
Marco served under Sqdn. 270 LGAF of the Philippine Army as a Recognized Guerilla in WWII. He met his beautiful would-be bride, Ligaya Reyes, at the Central Luzon State University in the Municipality of Muñoz, Province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines and they married in January 18, 1951.
During the early part of their union, Marco began his three decades of government service as an employee at the then Mountain National Agricultural College (now the Benguet State University) in the Municipality of La Trinidad, Province of Benguet, until his retirement as the College Auditor in 1972. Marco loved being with his family and in 1991, he migrated to America to spend time with his other children & grandchildren.
Marco is survived by the love of his life & better half Ligaya; son Geoffrey & wife Arabella; daughter Jocelyn & husband John; son George & wife Mariquez; son Ferdinand & wife Roselyn; son Val & wife Cristina; daughter in law Carmelita; sister Benita & brother Gabriel; numerous nieces & nephews, grandchildren & great granchildren. Marco was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jose & sister Gloria, his sons Roland and Marco Jr.
Interment will take place on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Marysville Cemetery, 8801 State Avenue, Marysville, Washington at 2:00 pm with Father Amando of St. Mary's Catholic Church officiating.
