Mary Sue CARNEGIE

Mary Sue Carnegie, 76 of Burlington, WA., passed away on Wednesday November 27th, 2019 at her home with her loving companion Hanz by her side.

She was born on July 4, 1943 to the parents William Esco and Lela Carnegie in Bogalusa, LA.. She is survived by daughters Tina ( Warner) Matthews of Everett, WA., and Susan Kay ( Amber) Warner of Marysville, WA., Grandchildren Krista Lorbiecki, Austin (Taylor) Smith, Cameron Lorbiecki, and Bridget Smith, Great-Grandchildren Braylen, Autumn, Jackson, and Landon, Siblings Tereze Alsobrooks, Willard Carnegie, and Ann Jarrell. She was preceded in death by her parents William Esco and Lela Carnegie, siblings Marvin Stewart, Dillard Carnegie, William (Pete) Carnegie, Claude (Jack) Carnegie, Shirley Jarrell, and one grandchild Josh Lorbiecki.

Out of the career opportunities that Mary experienced she was the happiest with her time as a homemaker. Throughout her life she enjoyed many things and kept herself busy but took pride in being a grandmother the most. She had a big heart and was a giver when someone was in need. She enjoyed camping ,gardening ,sewing, crafting, and so much more. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was a prayer warrior.

Over the last thirty-one years she has experienced life events that caused her some difficulties and disabilities of her own, but she is now able to rest peacefully. She will be missed deeply and dearly. There will be a viewing on December 5th, 2019 form 3:00pm-4:00pm at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home 804 State Ave Marysville, WA. 98270. We ask that if you can’t attend the viewing please take a moment during this time to celebrate her life where you are as she would have loved that.
