Michael Edward Holman born to Oscar Carl Jones Jr. and Madeline M. Henry on January 30th, 1960 went home to be with The Lord on November 6th, 2016. Some of the things he enjoyed were cooking, listening to hard rock ‘old school’ music, speed-walking, celebrating the 4th of July, and spending time with his dogs Goldie Bear and Little Bear. Michael very much enjoyed being surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his wife of thirty-one years, Diana Holman, step-mother Laverne, sisters Linda and Theresa, brothers John Sr., Joe, and Dale, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Madeline M. Henry and father Oscar (Poly) Jones Jr., infant brother Gregory, Ma and Pa Jones, adopted parents, Garvin and Nola Holman, and brother Jerry. Special thanks to Chaplain Loren, nurses Pam, Abai, Tausha, and the rest of the hospice staff. Services will be held on November 10th, 2016 at 10am at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home. His final resting place will be at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery.
