Molly Jean Thurston

Molly Jean Thurston 73, of Olympia died October 28th, 2010 in Monroe, Washington. Molly was born February 13, 1937 in Seattle. In 1964, Molly married the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Thurston. She retired in 1997 after working for over 30 years in the grocery business in the Seattle and Olympia areas. After retiring, Molly and Dick enjoyed spending winters with their many friends in Yuma, AZ. She is survived by her children, Kim Whitbeck (Rich), Rick Ranniger (Robin), Ron Ranniger (Lori), Karen Holttum (Patrick Thier), Jo Wegscheid(Butch), Debbie Fischer (Wes), Bob Thurston (Randi)and Sue Baldwin (Larry).

Molly was blessed with 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry and Brian Sims and John McLaren. Molly was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dick and her son Rob Ranniger. A memorial service will be held at Mills and Mills in Tumwater on November 13th, at 1:00 p.m. In honor of Molly the family request attendees wear cheerful colorful attire.
