Nong "Ann" Richards
February 17, 1951 – April 6, 2021
Nong (Ann) Richards, 70, of Algona, Washington, passed away Tuesday, April 7th 2021.
She was born in Bang Pakong, Thailand on February 17th, 1951 . Ann graduated from high school in Thailand and went on to further her education in the U.S. to learn English as a second language and received her U.S. citizenship. She later received a certificate of accomplishment for learning retail clerking from Clover Park vocational school.
She was married to Robert P. Richards on May 27, 1975 in Tacoma, Washington.
Ann worked hard as a loving mother and wife; she protected her family fiercely.
She had a passion for fishing, collecting cultural knick nacks, reading and gardening. She was survived by her husband Robert P. Richards her daughter Samantha Megrath and her husband Brett Megrath, and her niece Phacharin Illiano.
