Phyllis Donnell Hassell

If you knew Phyllis, you knew a woman of strong conviction and great passions. She was famously stubborn, a trait that only made her more endearing to the friends and family who loved her. She was a spirited woman who lived life on her own terms. She found joy in the simple pleasures: a competitive game of cards, crossword puzzles, a quiet day of fishing, and the thrill of the hunt while antiquing. Phyllis loved a spotless home, stayed active on her daily walks, and loved happily laying out in the sun. She also loved calling her lifelong friends and staying in touch.

Phyllis dedicated the majority of her working years to Patent Scaffolding Co. She absolutely loved her job, and it was there that she built deep, lifelong friendships that she treasured always.

She is survived by her sons David & Dwight Hart, daughter Shelly Walkley, her son-in-law Dwain Walkley Jr., granddaughter Shannon Hart, grandsons Alex, Steven, and Casey Walkley, great-grandchildren Thomas Harris, Ayan Webb, Charley & Daisy Walkley, brother Mike McKeown, and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her second husband Bob Hassell in June 2021, her first husband Randall Hart in May 2004, her brothers James McKeown in 2006, Donovan McKeown in 2007, and by Lois Waggoner in 2022.
