Regina Louise Mack

Regina Louise Mack, 88, died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Marysville Care Center, Marysville, Wa. She was born May 25, 1928 to Carl and Louise Knecht in Tacoma, Wa. She graduated Valedictorian from Aquinas High School, Tacoma, 1946. Regina married Eugene Patrick Mack on July 10, 1948 and the pair enjoyed nearly 50 years of marriage before Eugene’s death in March, 1998. They raised their family of 13 children in Kirkland, Wa., where they were long time members of Holy Family Catholic Church. Regina is survived by 6 sons; Gene, Dan (Donna), Mike (Jeanne), Joe, Tom (Frances), and Andrew; 7 daughters; Louise (Rick Wike), Katie, Sue (Greg Ewing), Teresa (Terry Seim), Mary (Larry Welch), Anne (Rick Haughian) and Nancy (Dan Jackson); her sister, Barbara Finley; 35 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; Carl, Norbert, Leonard, Claude and Lawrence Knecht; one sister; Rose (Dietrich); daughter-in-law; Denise Mack (Joe ) and son-in-law; Curt Sanders (Katie). She will be remembered for her warm smile and enthusiasm for life. Regina possessed a tremendous faith in God and devotion to family. She was loved and respected by all. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30am, Friday, June 17th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marysville; Rosary begins at 10am. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Redmond.
