Richard Lee Sanchez Sr.

Richard Sanchez Sr. was born in Bellingham WA. to Alice Sanchez and Gordon Jones on December 22, 1975. He passed on September 12, 2026, at home in Tulalip WA. Richard enjoyed going on walks with his dog and car rides to his homelands of Lower Elwha. He went to school at NWIC and wanted to be a marine biologist, he also attended College in New Mexico. He enjoyed working for the Tulalip Tribes and Tulalip Gaming organization (Slots and Barback). The different odd jobs he had in Tulalip let him meet many people. Richard loved his family and spiritual way of life. Richard walked every morning down to the bay and said prayer for the health and safety of all the relations in Tulalip, Elwha and Lummi.

He is survived by his Mother Alice Napoleon, Brother Shane Sostello, Stepbrother Joseph Napoleon, Sons Richard Jr. and Jaden Sanchez his grandchildren Lola Sanchez, Sandra Sanchez, Scarlet Sanchez, Sofia Sanchez, baby Sanchez on the way, His Wife Tina Sanchez and many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his Fathers Marvin Napoleon and Gordon Jones.
