Passed away February 19, 2025 in his home surrounded by loved ones in Marysville, Washington
Richard (Dick) joined the Navy right out of high school, had many adventures and got to see the world. Married his first wife Stacia VanNoy in 1967 and together they had three children, Jody Lynn, Cosett, and Brian Earl.
Dick was a ham radio operator and loved connecting with people on the CB. He loved exotic birds and had several Macaws.
In 1980 Dick married the love of his life Verna Heskett, who had four children of her own Robert, John, Gary, and Leslie, together they had a family of seven children.
Dick retired from the Navy as Chief Petty Officer in 1985
Dick and Verna worked a 12 step program and were active members of AA helping others to become sober. They joined the LDS religion and were sealed together May 19, 2018 for all time and eternity.
Dick is survived by his 6 children, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, and several siblings.
Dick was loved very much and will be missed by many.
