Ricky attended a private deaf school in Vancouver, WA and graduated in the class of 1968. While attending school in Vancouver Ricky enjoyed basketball; wood shop; the school newspaper; along with barbering and baking.
Ricky was very talented with his hands and enjoyed many hobbies.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Bernice Nicolet. He is survived by his wife Nancy Nicolet of 30 years; two step-children Amy (Aaron) Tonning of Everett and Justin Chase of Snohomish. Ricky was the oldest of six children. He leaves behind his sisters and brother, Lynn (Raymond) Henery of Stanwood, Peggy (Mike) Compton of Arizona; Phillip (Lynn) Nicolet of Redmond, Shelly (Patrick) Richardson of Sultan, and Patti (Martin) Hendrickson of Arlington.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, Marysville.WA.
