

She was born in Redmond, Washington on February 14, 1933. Rosa later earned her GED and attended Oregon State University and she received a certificate for Hypnotherapy.
During her life, Rosa did many things, she was most proud of the years she spent working for Frosty’s Restaurant, Kline Galland and Woodenville High School, which she later retired from as a food server.
She had many passions, baking, arts and crafts but number one on that list was knitting and crocheting.
Rosa is preceded in death by her son, Patrick Long; her husband Jack Edward Long; her granddaughter, Tisha Stanaway; and her four sisters, Margie Lee, Irene Boner, Grace Price and Bonnie Charbonneau.
Rosa is lovingly survived by her children, Roslynn Ione Brantner, Michael Edward Long, Steven Joseph Long and Sandra Kay Romines. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Daniel, Timothy, Samantha, Jami, Joseph, Amanda, Jacklynn and Tanna as well as many great grandchildren and nephews.
The family of Rosa will receive friends Monday, October 24, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Ave, Marysville, Washington.
A committal service for Rosa will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 12:00pm at Holyrood Cemetery, 205 NE 205th St, Shoreline, Washington.
