

Sally Marie Sylvester-Patrick, was 18 years old when she passed away from an unexpected illness. She was surrounded by her family and close friends. Family left behind include her mother, Elecia Sylvester-Patrick & stepfather Mario Gomez, her younger sister Amelia, younger brothers; Mario Jr, and little Rocky, her grandparents; Rockwell "Rocky" Patrick and Angela Sylvester, her uncles; Eric Sylvester and Justin Patrick. Sally was born into a large extended family; Angela's brothers are Joe Sylvester, Mike Sylvester, Anthony "Tony" Sylvester, and Brandon Sylvester that reside on the land of the Cowichan Nation ; Rocky's sisters are Tracy Patrick (Tulalip), Valene Comenout-Sawyer (Quinault Indian Nation); and numerous cousins, family members, and friends. Preceding her in death are her uncle Christopher Sylvester (Cowichan Nation), Great Grandmother Myra Sylvester(Cowichan Nation) and Great Grandmother Emeline Sally Patrick(Yakama Nation)
Sally spent her younger years in Tulalip, she liked to ride her ATV, go skating, swimming, gardening and tending to her dog Peaches, she learned how to cut fish with grandpa Rocky, she liked to work on her craft projects, and was learning to bake with grandma Angela; she had many interests and if she saw something that interested her, she wanted to try for herself; she then moved to Ephrata, WA for high school, started her self taught beauty practice to fine tune her hair and make up style, her life changed to include tending to farm animals, and she was working on finishing high school; continued riding her ATV; she travelled with family; found new places to swim; and made some new friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tulalip Gathering Hall with burial to follow at Mission Beach Cemetery.
