It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Tara Anne Wright, 55, who passed away on June 17, 2026, in Arlington, Washington. Born on June 28, 1970, in Seattle, Washington, Tara lived a vibrant and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many in the Methow Valley.
Tara’s educational journey began in 1977 at the Christian Academy in Twisp and continued at Liberty Bell High School in Winthrop, where she graduated in 1988. The light in her life, daughter Bethany Wright was born November 1990. Her passion for learning led her to pursue further studies at the Allure School of Cosmetology, AZ in 1994 and later at Everett College for Dentistry in 2018. These accomplishments reflected her dedication to personal growth and professional development.
Tara was known for her outgoing personality and fun-loving spirit. She had a deep affection for animals and was an avid lover of dogs, cats, and rabbits. Her love for animals brought joy not only to her but also to those around her who shared in her enthusiasm.
She is survived by her loving family: her mother Marilyn Wright; her father Jim Wright and his wife Vickie; her sister Theresa Kamitomo and husband Mark; her brother Jim Wright and wife Laura; her brother Tom Jenne; her daughter Bethany; her cherished grandchildren Oliver and Juniper; and her niece Carlee Konrad-Woody and husband Garrett Konrad-Woody.
She was preceded in death by both Wright and Clark grandparents, Uncle John Bagley and cousins Tim and Tom Bagley and sister-in-law, Gayle Jenne.
Tara will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. A memorial maybe planned in the future.
