Troy Queen

Troy was born July 25th 1930 to parents Troy and Cora (Fisher) Queen in Fisher’s Camp near Marcola, Oregon.

He met and married his beautiful wife Kathy 47 years ago. Some of things he enjoyed was camping; coaching basketball and softball; making and selling fireworks; being the family Santa Clause; gathering Christmas trees for the Tulalip Tribes with his Wife. He was in the Navy; he worked as a Roofer; and he worked several different jobs within the Tulalip Tribes.

He is survived by his children Karen (Chuck), Cathy (Sid), Mike, and David (Darlene); and Donna,; Sister Faye (Ed); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Wife Kathy; sons Sauki, Gary; Brother Joe; Sister Nellie; and his Parents.

His favorite past time was spending time with his family watching the Seahawks and the Cougars. He will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home with an Interfaith service to follow at 6:00 PM at the Tulalip Gym. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM at the Tulalip Gym with burial to follow at Mission Beach Cemetery.
