Dick and Verna, you are both so dear, and we all love you so. You are the back-bone of our group, that's something we all know. Every Thursday you are there, to keep us all in line, Dick you give the greatest hugs, and you help your Verna shine. We could not miss the chance to say, we greet this day with cheers, for you prove "the promises" are true, as you celebrate 26 years. It's not how eloquent we are, or how we "talk the talk" but when our world is tossed and blown, it's how we "walk the walk". Now there are mountains you must climb, and paths you may not know, but your Higher Power brought you this far, and he will not let you go. So happy birthday dearest friends, you'll never be alone, for hand in hand we'll see this through, and recovery will show the way home.
