
William Randolph Lindsey was born on February 4, 1940 in Colorado City, Texas and moved to Marysville, Wash. in 1955, where he resided for the remainder of his life. He was a graduate of the class of '59 fondly referred to as "Tex", Willie or Bill Lindsey. His passions included oil paintings, wood working, puzzles, reading Louis L'Amour, old western movies, restoring old cars and restoration of properties, as well as being a mentor to his children and grandchildren.
William is preceded in death by his mother, Telitha Wiggins; and daughter, Penny Lindsey.
He leaves behind his wife of almost 51 years, Barbara Lindsey; and daughters, Debra Lindsey, Billie Rae Lindsey Page, and Carmen White/Lindsey; brothers, Robert Lindsey (Ramona), Frelon (Carol) Tankersley, John (Pam) Stokes; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; his best buddies, Julie Orcutt, Jack (Virlee) Garmon and Ray (Meta) Rogers; and numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, and nieces and nephews. He passed quietly in his sleep on July 20, 2014 due to extended illness.
There will be a celebration of life held at the Marysville Kellogg Marsh Grange located at 10005 67th Ave NE on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from Noon to 5 p.m.
