The family moved to Centralia in 1966 when he got his first teaching job. He taught shop and history at Centralia Junior High and High School. After retirement from the school system, Bill drove for Twin Transit.
In 2007, Bill and his wife, Darlene, moved to Lake Stevens to be close to family.
Bill’s faith in God was very apparent to all who knew him. He loved his Lord with all of his might. We are sure he is having a grand time in heaven!
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Grace; his grandchildren Sarah and Benjamin; and his son, Dave. He is survived by his wife, Darlene, son Paul (Shelly), daughter Connie (Bruce Andrews), five grandchildren, six great-grands, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held April 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Kirkland Family Church in Kirkland, Washington.
