Alan Louis Bianco, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away on Friday February 16, 2024. He is reunited in eternal peace with his beloved wife Helen, sister Angela, and parents Ralph and Marie. Alan leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family, including his children Donna (Johnny) Risola, Ralph, Susan, and Alan Jr (Megan). He cherished his role as a father and was a loving grandfather to Johnny, Alan, Matthew, Chelsea, Robert, Kristie, Brian, and Nicholas, as well as a cherished great grandfather to many.
Alan's commitment to service extended beyond his family, as he proudly served in the National Guard and was a dedicated member of the Local 28 Sheet Metal Workers. A true Yankee fan, he shared his passion for baseball by coaching his son Alan Jr's team and instilling values of teamwork and perseverance in those he mentored.
He was a pillar of support and generosity, always proud of his family's accomplishments. Alan's legacy lives on through his son Alan Jr. and grandsons Johnny, Brian, and Nicholas, who followed in his footsteps as members of the Local 28 Sheet Metal Union. He cherished his first granddaughter Kristie and grandson Alan for his academic achievements in finance, as well as Robert for his real estate acumen.
Among his many roles, Alan was also a devoted "dog dad" to Lola, whose loyalty brought him comfort and joy. His kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory continue to inspire and bring solace to those he leaves behind. A visitation will be held Monday 2-4 & 7-9. A funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes (Massapequa Park) Tuesday at 10:45am with interment to follow at the Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
