Alfred Tomitz

Alfred Tomitz, age 86, of N Massapequa, New York passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. A remarkable man whose life epitomized resilience and achievement. A devoted history buff, he immersed himself in the tales of Roman and Greek civilizations. A savvy investor who navigated financial landscapes independently, his intellect spanned a multitude of interest. Cherished moments included Caribbean snorkeling with his son Jeffrey and sharing the thrill of nascar with his son Alfred. A proud US Air Force veteran, who overcame adversity as an immigrant learning a new language and flourishing in all his endeavors. A talented gardner to his grapevines and tomatoes. May his legacy inspire generations to overcome challenges with grace and determination. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 & 6-8. A funeral mass at the Maria Regina church Friday 10:00 am, with interment to follow at the St. Charles Cemetery.
