Anthony J. Pizzirusso

Anthony J. Pizzirusso, a devoted, hard-working, kind-hearted, and honest man, passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on March 2, 1934, Anthony was a beloved resident of Massapequa, where he built a life and beautiful family.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Victoria, and his brother, Joseph. Anthony was a loving father to Michael (Gina), Domenic (Patee), and Tori. He was a cherished grandfather to Michael (Kaleigh), Ryan, Rae Marie (Justin), Shannon (Chris), and Jacob, and a beloved great-grandfather to Benjamin. Anthony was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Anthony was an avid reader of mystery and crime novels. He always looked forward to summer to enjoy his books in the sun. He loved to swim and bowl when he was younger and had a great passion for collecting coins, stamps, and especially mini-clocks. He also had a deep appreciation for history.

One of Anthony's annual delights was visiting Sandals resort in Jamaica with his wife Victoria, a tradition he eagerly anticipated each year.

Visitation services will be held at James Funeral Home, located at 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758, on August 13, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. William the Abbot RC Church, 2000 Jackson Ave, Seaford, NY 11783, on August 14, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by the interment at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, at 11:15 am.
