Arleen D’Vachio

Born on February 5, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York, Arleen was the daughter of John Pisciotta and Isabella DiBella.

Arleen made her home in Massapequa, New York. A devoted homemaker, she built a life defined by steady care, quiet strength, and the kind of constancy that turns ordinary days into a lasting foundation for those she loved.

Arleen was the wife of Louis for 61 years, and a loving mother to Susan Veltry. She was a cherished grandmother to Samantha, Nicole, Frankie, and Anthony, and took deep pride in the family she helped hold together with patience, warmth, and unwavering presence.

She also found joy in the simple pleasures that bring people close—socializing with friends and playing cards, where her gracious spirit and easy companionship were felt by all who sat at the table with her.

Arleen valued community and connection, and was involved with the Massapequa Park Community Center, where her presence reflected a sincere commitment to staying engaged with the world around her.

Memorial Visitation will be held at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758, US, on November 5, 2026, from 8:45 am to 10:45 am.
