Barbara is survived by her three children, Debra, Douglas and Robert and her beloved daughter-in-law, Joni Dervin. She was blessed with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A widow since the death of her cherished husband, Walter, in 1991, she spent 28 years in Ft Meyers surrounded by her parents and her surviving brother, Arthur Williamsen.
She enjoyed her life in Florida, playing Bingo whenever possible.
In 2015, she relocated to Overland Park, KS to reside with her daughter. The two returned to NY in 2022 to be closer to their family.
Barbara was a warm and loving person, with many friends wherever she went. Her absence will be difficult, but cherished memories will remain.
