Carmela Audia

Carmela Audia, 85, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025 predeceased by her beloved husband, Giovanni. A devoted mother to Frank and Maria, and cherished grandmother to Christian, Caitlyn, and Catherine, Carmela’s vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.

A masterful cook, Carmela delighted in sharing her culinary creations, especially her egg salad! She found joy in poker, bingo, dancing, and cheering for the Mets. An avid shopper, she never missed a coupon, and her love for lotto tickets was legendary. Her faith as a devout Catholic guided her life, and her home remained spotless, a testament to her independence even at 85. Known for her thoughtfulness, Carmela brought cookies to everyone—bank tellers, doctors, nurses, and beyond—spreading warmth wherever she went.

Her infectious joy and generous heart will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who crossed her path.

Funeral Mass: Monday, 10:45 AM, Marie Regina Church, Seaford, NY

Interment: St. Charles Cemetery to follow
