

VACCARO, Elvira C. of Farmingdale, New York, June 4, 1931 - December 23, 2023. Vera’s family is devastated by her loss, and will miss her dearly. She was a daily presence in each of their lives, facing each and every day with a smile and a generous, unselfish, loving heart. A true friend to all, Vera was adored by everyone she knew. Predeceased by loving husband Philip W. and beloved son Philip P. Loving mother to William (Janet) Vaccaro, Laura (Chris) Seeger, Tom (Kathy) Vaccaro, and Linda (Frank) Sullivan. Cherished grandmother to Laura (Chris) Kelly, William Vaccaro, Drew Seeger, Dylan (Samara) Seeger, Keith Sullivan, and Philip Sullivan. Adoring gigi to Ryan and Henry Kelly. Survived by caring brother Sam (Kathy) Cardillo and predeceased by Joe (Joanne) Cardillo. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Vera had a long career as VP of Personnel for Genovese Drug Stores, and was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes. Her true passion was always her family and her friends, and she will be forever cherished in the hearts of all.
