Afterglow

I'd like the memory of me
To be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow
Of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
Whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
To dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
When life is done.
A visitation will be held at James Funeral Home, located at 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY, 11758, on August 20, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will take place at Maria Regina Roman Catholic Church, 3945 Jerusalem Ave, Seaford, NY, 11783, on August 21, 2025, from 9:45 am to 10:30 am.
Interment will follow at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY, 11758, on August 21, 2025, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
