GEORGE PAUL BELASCO, on March 28, 2012 of West Babylon, New York. United State Navy/Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Marisa Belasco of 7 years of marriage. Adored father of Peter John and Giovanni Vincent. Cherished brother of Cathy, Karen, John and Janet. Beloved brother-in-law to Jeannine, George, Wayne, and Timothy. Loving uncle to Ryan, Madeleine, Timothy, and soon-to-be Christopher. George worked as a mechanic, was a wonderful stay-at-home daddy, and a student. Leaves behind his loving pet Pazza. George enjoyed fishing, cars, music, golf, guns, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) in Massapequa. "He loved his family and would do anything and everything if anyone asked." "He loved his country and was a true patriot."

Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday, March 31 and April 1, 2012 from 2 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 2 Bayview Avenue, Massapequa, New York. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, New York. Family and friends are welcome to the funeral home on Monday one hour before the mass.
