

Gregory F. Warren, a beloved resident of Massapequa, New York, passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on February 14, 1945, Gregory was an adventurous, gentle, and wise man known for his kind-hearted nature. His presence and humor were cherished by many, as he dedicated his life to being a thoughtful, patient, and hard-working husband, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.
An Air Force veteran, Gregory Warren honed his skills in telecommunications, which he later applied during his esteemed career at the New York Transit Authority. He took great pride in his work and his dedicated crew, working for over 30 years in the spirit of devotion and excellence.
Gregory was married to his devoted wife, Jennie, for 56 wonderful years. Their love was profound, and together, they enjoyed, traveling, and spending quality time with their family—especially cherishing meals concocted by Jennie’s exceptional culinary skills. Enjoyed fishing with his son Joseph on his boat "wish you were here". A Mets fan, Gregory delighted in staying informed about current events and excelling as the steadfast patriarch of his family. On the couple's memorable 50th wedding anniversary, they celebrated by renewing their vows on a cruise to Bermuda alongside their whole family.
He was the cherished father of Joseph, who shares his life with Robin, and Diana, who shares hers with Gary. A dedicated grandfather, Gregory’s legacy lives on in his grandchildren: Jack, Sam, and Vivian. He was also a devoted brother to Joseph and Fred, predeceased by his brother George and his parents Anna And Joseph, a cherished uncle to Elizabeth and Gabriella, and many other beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation services will be held at James Funeral Home, located at 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758, on November 21, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The religious service is scheduled for November 22, 2025, from 9:45 am to 10:45 am at Maria Regina Roman Catholic Church, 3945 Jerusalem Ave, Seaford, NY 11783. Entombment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735, from 11:15 am to 11:30 am.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the many expressions of sympathy and compassion received during this difficult time. Gregory will truly be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations for the Parkinson's Foundation, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation in his memory.
