March, Jean F (nee) Meehan- on October 23, 2015. Loving wife of Richard (deceased) of 49 years. Beloved mother to Richard (Sharon), Regina (Joe), Virginia (James), and Theresa (Hans). Cherished Grandmother of Theresa, Christopher, Joseph, Richard, Christine, Kevin, Anthony, Richard, James, Madeline, and Marissa. Adored Great Grandmother to Joseph, Morgan, Regan, Natalia, and Peyton. Beloved sister of Catherine Galiani (deceased). Jean worked for New York Telephone, Woolworth's, and Chase bank. She supported her community by being a member of the Republican club of North Massapequa. Jean was a breast cancer survivor. She enjoyed every Saturday at Besame beauty salon with all her friends. Jean also enjoyed "going" to the casinos with her loving husband Richard and sister Katie. She will be deeply missed.

~ Visitation will be at James Funeral Home 540 Broadway Massapequa Monday 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at St. James RC Church, 80 Hicksville Road, Seaford, New York. Interment to follow to the Cemetery of the Gate of Heaven, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, Westchester County, New York 10532 ~
