JOHN J. GINLEY, on September 10, 2015 of Massapequa Park. Beloved husband and best friend for 59 years of Diana. Loving father of Jack - Eddie - Danny and Charlie. Cherished grandfather of 5, and he would refer to the 5 girls as his. T.A.C.K.S Force - Theresa . Angela. Christine. Katelyn and Shannon. Jack was also a GREAT-Grandpa of 3 beautiful great grandchildren and 1 soon to arrive. Jack was the 3rd son of six children, born on August 23, 1931. John served 4 years for the United States Navy. He worked for Verizon Communications for 38 years, and has been retired now for 22 years. He enjoyed spending time teaching and playing with the boys - All sports and skills for Judo, Ice Hockey, Golf and Softball and anything else they expressed an interest in.

Visitation will be held on Saturday and Sunday ~ from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. ~ Funeral Mass will be held on Monday at 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 855 Carmen's Road, Massapequa Park, New York 11762 ~ Interment to follow to Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11735 ~

Family and friends are welcome to James Funeral Home on Monday at 8:45 a.m. before leaving for the funeral mass.
