A devoted Catholic, Ligia was a faithful parishioner of St. Rose de Lima, where her deep faith guided her daily life and inspired her selfless care for others. Her family was her greatest pride and joy. She was the beloved wife of Guido Marin, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion. Ligia was a deeply loving mother to her three children, Paulina, Junior, and Jacqueline, and a cherished grandmother to Lucas, Gabriel, Juliet, and Mateo. Her life was defined by her absolute devotion to her family, always putting their happiness and wellbeing above her own.
She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her generous spirit, and the profound love she showered upon her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were blessed to know her.
Visitation will be held at James Funeral Home, 540 Broadway, Massapequa, NY 11758, US, on August 5, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at St Rose of Lima Religious Edu, 4702 Merrick Rd, Massapequa, NY 11758, US, on August 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
